This past weekend I participated in a wool spinning class at a local yarn store called Hand Held. It was pretty fun. I learned how to spin on a spinning wheel and also learned a little bit about using a drop spindle. I've included a few pictures of the yarn I ended up making. I was worried in the beginning that my yarn would look horrible, but I have to say I'm quite proud of it :) I am still not sure what I will make with my yarn, probably a small scarf... I'll post pictures when it is complete.
Earlier today I took a few pictures of the piano we have in the living room. Dallas is starting to play really well. I hope to take a video soon to share. For now enjoy a few photos...
